The CFP has entered the quarterfinals with four games happening tomorrow and Wednesday. Lines are posted now for CFP betting, as well as futures that are taking action on the eventual National Champion.
Tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m., the second round of the college football playoffs will begin with a matchup of Penn State and Boise State in the Fiesta Bowl.
Penn State (#6) vs. Boise State (#3)
- Spread: Nittany Lions -11.5 (-105), Broncos +11.5 (-115)
- Moneyline: Nittany Lions -480, Broncos +350
- Over: 53.0 (-110)
- Under: 53.0 (-110)
Boise State has only lost one game this season, and it was by one point to the top team in the nation – the Oregon Ducks. Still, college football sportsbooks have no confidence in BSU and have rated them as an 11.5-point underdog for tomorrow’s game.
Whoever advances to the CFP semifinals will get to play the winner between Notre Dame and Boise State in the Orange Bowl.
On New Year’s Day at 1 p.m., Texas and Arizona will face off in the Paech Bowl.
Texas (#5) vs. Arizona State (#4)
- Spread: Longhorns -13.0 (-105), Sun Devils +13.0 (-115)
- Moneyline: Longhorns -490, Sun Devils +355
- Over: 51.0 (-110)
- Under: 51.0 (-110)
The Texas Longhorns, despite not winning the SEC, are the top-rated program in the CFP futures. The are projected to beat Arizona State by 13 or more points on Wednesday, and the winner will play in the Orange Bowl against Oregon or Ohio State on January 9th at 7:30 p.m.
Later on January 1st at 5 p.m., two Big Ten giants, Ohio State and Oregon, will meet in the Rose Bowl.
Ohio State (#8) vs. Oregon (#1)
- Spread: Buckeyes -2.0 (-110), Ducks +2.0 (-110)
- Moneyline: Buckeyes -125, Ducks +105
- Over: 55.5 (-110)
- Under: 55.5 (-110)
The Buckeyes blew a chance to make it to the Big Ten Championship when they lost their season finale to their arch-rival, the Michigan Wolverines. Now, OSU fans get a chance to knock off the Big Ten Champions and move on the semifinals, and they’re favored by 2 points at 18+ sportsbook sites.
The winner of this game will face either Texas or Arizona State in the Orange Bowl.
Capping off the second round of the CFP at 8:45 p.m. is the Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs. the Georgia Bulldogs in the Sugar Bowl.
Notre Dame (#7) vs. Georgia (#2)
- Spread: Irish +1.5 (-110), Georgia -1.5 (-110)
- Moneyline: Irish EVEN, Georgia -120
- Over: 45.0 (-110)
- Under: 45.0 (-110)
The Fighting Irish would’ve finished undefeated if not for a fluke loss to Northern Illinois in early September. The Bulldogs will be without their starting quarterback on Wednesday, but the oddsmakers still favor them to narrowly beat Notre Dame by 1.5 points.
The victor will play in the Cotton Bowl on Friday, January 10th, at 7:30 p.m.
2024-25 CFP Futures
- Texas (#5) +300
- Ohio State (#8) +350

- Notre Dame (#7) +500
- Penn State (#6) +500
