It appears that the Georgia Bulldogs have already accomplished enough over the course of the 2021-22 NCAA College Football season to have locked up one of the final four CFP seeds.
They are the only remaining Power 5 program that has yet to lose a game, so a loss to the mighty Alabama Crimson Tide at this juncture would hardly be enough of a knock on Georgia to remove them from the top 4.
However, three more seeds for the College Football Playoffs are at stake this Saturday, and even the top teams will need to win their respective Conference Championship Games to keep their National Championship hopes alive.
18+ college football betting sites are predicting that the Georgia Bulldogs will beat the Alabama Crimson Tide and win the SEC Championship by at least 6 points depending on where you’re shopping the lines.
If Alabama loses, then their second loss will likely exclude them from National Championship contention, but stranger things have happened and they do have loads of historic cred with the Selection Committee.
Here is a list of the other three potential teams that will almost certainly be included in the CFP with a win on Saturday
- Alabama Crimson Tide
- Michigan Wolverines
- Cincinnati Bearcats/Oklahoma State Cowboys
It seems as if the Bearcats and Cowboys will be hoping for Alabama to lose, as a Crimson Tide SEC Title would make the College Football Playoffs a lot more crowded.
It does seem that either Oklahoma State or Cincinnati will be included, but Alabama needs to lose for both of them to have a chance to qualify.
The odds at CFP betting sites will likely become a lot muddier if Michigan loses the Big Ten Championship Game where they are favored to wipe the floor with the Iowa Hawkeyes by at least 10 points. A Wolverines loss is another avenue where both Cincinnati and Oklahoma State could make the 2021-22 CFP.
The Selection Committee will issue their final four CFP seeds this Sunday at noon, so get in your bets at the top 18+ sportsbooks that are included in our sports betting site reviews so that you can profit off of your favorite team’s victory.
