Next Tuesday at 8 PM on ABC and Disney+, the 33rd season of Dancing with the Stars will debut with a cast of 13 celebrities and athletes who will compete for the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.
Odds have debuted for betting on DWTS, which includes moneylines for each contestant.
Dancing With The Stars Odds To Win – Season 33
- Stephen Nedoroscik +300
- Dwight Howard +450
- Ilona Maher +450
- Danny Amendola +600
- Brooks Nader +900
- Jenn Tran +900
- Joey Graziadei +900
- Chandler Kinney +1000
- Anna Delvey +1400
- Phaedra Parks +1500
- Eric Roberts +2000
- Tori Spelling +2000
- Reginald VelJohnson +2500
Leading the preseason DWTS odds is Stephen Nedoroscik, an Olympic gymnast who has medaled twice. Just behind him in a two-way tie for second are two Olympic medalists – former NBA center Dwight Howard and Ilona Maher, an American rugby player.
Rounding out the dancers who are within contention is Danny Amendola, former New England Patriots wide receiver and two-time Super Bowl champion.
Reality television fans will recognize Jenn Tran, The Bachelorette from season 28. Tran and ex-fiance Devin Strader are still publically feuding over their recent split, which could impact her ability to perform on the dance floor.
Josy Graziadei was the runner-up on season 20 of The Bachelorette and will be The Bachelor for season 28.
90210 alum Tory Spelling would have had a better shot at the trophy in her younger days, but at 51 years of age, she is projected for an early exit in season 33.
18-friendly entertainment gambling sites suggest Spelling has a decent shot of making it beyond the first elimination. The first dancer projected to depart the competitor is Reginald VelJohnson.
First Elimination
- Reginald VelJohnson +200
- Eric Roberts +400
- Anna Delvey +500
- Brooks Nader +800
- Phaedra Parks +800
- Tori Spelling +800
- Chandler Kinney +900
- Joey Graziadei +900
- Danny Amendola +1500
- Jenn Tran +1500
- Ilona Maher +2000
- Dwight Howard +2500
- Stephen Nedoroscik +2500
VelJohnson played Carl Winslow on Family Matters and a police officer in Die Hard 1 and 2. His advanced age, overweight status, and lack of any dancing background make him a prime candidate for being the first to leave DWTS.
Actor Eric Roberts is a potential underdog in the above Dancing with the Stars prop bet. He’s a bit of a pill, and again, he’s no spring chicken at 68 years old.
Anna Delvey is a professional imposter, but can she fake her way past at least a few eliminations? The odds say yes, but she’s another potential sleeper with high payout potential at +500.
Celebrity betting sites have placed Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks toward the middle of the pack in both prop bets, but we believe she has a great chance to go home early.
