The XFL is now entering its fourth week of the regular season, and there is only one team that still remains undefeated, the Houston Roughnecks.
The Roughnecks are led by head coach June Jones and star quarterback PJ Walker. Walker has been phenomenal in his first few XFL appearances leading the league in passing with 748 yards, ten touchdowns, and a passer rating of 112.7. His only interception came in week one against the LA Wildcats.
The Roughnecks will be tested against some of the most talented teams in the XFL in the upcoming weeks. In week 4, the Roughnecks will have to travel to Dallas to face Bob Stoops, and their inner state rivals the Dallas Renegades.
The Renegades were preseason favorites to win the Championship game according to some XFL sportsbooks. After losing in week one to the STL. Battlehawks fans were worried, but now after winning their last two games, it seems as if things are starting to click for the Renegades.
For fans looking to bet on the XFL games, there are two viable options on the table; 18+ online sportsbooks and state-regulated sportsbooks. Online sportsbooks that operate offshore and are not subject to US gambling laws. These online sportsbooks are typically the most convenient option for US bettors that often offers additional services, including poker gambling, casino games, and more.
State services are also available to US players now that the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act was repealed in 2018. Since the repeal, over a dozen states have enacted sports betting laws, but only three (New Hampshire, Tennessee, and Montana) allow bettors over the age of 18.
XFL Odds started as a guessing game by oddsmakers based on the talent drafted in the initial XFL draft, however as the inaugural season is now getting close to halfway, predictions are better suited for bettors and oddsmakers alike.
In the coming weeks, we will start to see teams like the Roughnecks clinch playoff spots, while other teams are slowly eliminated. The XFL playoffs are similar to the NFL, but on a smaller scale giving the league only has eight initial teams. The top two teams from the eastern and western divisions will enter the postseason. The first game will be divisional, while the second game will be the championship game.
Week 4 odds are close but the Roughnecks have a slight advantage over the Renegades according to oddsmakers at Bovada.
