It has been less than a month since the world lost Alex Trebek (80), the 37-year host of the popular television game show Jeopardy.
Now that Trebek has unfortunately lost his battle with pancreatic cancer, fans of the show are left wondering who could fill his shoes. While many fans agree that Trebek will always be known as the greatest Jeopardy host, the show is forced to move on and find someone else to ask the tough questions.
Jeopardy has been on daytime television in some fashion for over 40 years; however, it was canceled before it rebooted with Trebek in 1984. The original host Art Fleming hosted the show for 11 years before Trebek took the stand. Coincidentally, Fleming died of pancreatic cancer in 1995 after the show became a massive success with Trebek. Since Trebek’s first broadcast in 1984, 18+ online entertainment betting has grown immensely in the United States alongside the internet.
