18+ sports betting fans are looking forward to the return of sports and the NBA 2020 season set to take place at Disney World in Orlando, despite the rise of Coronavirus cases in Florida.
The NBA was the first US sporting league to suspend operations after the Coronavirus was upgraded to a pandemic in March. With approximately 15 games left in the regular season, the NBA has now announced their plan to return to the 2020 NBA season. Twenty-two teams will participate in the remainder of the season to play eight seeding games leading to the 16-team post-season. Once eight playoff teams from each conference are determined, the post-season will resume as normal.
The NBA has yet to announce a schedule, but Magic CEO Alex Martins told officials that games will be played all day long once the rebooted season begins. Games will be broadcast on each team’s regional sports network.
No official schedule release yet from the NBA, but Magic CEO Alex Martins told Orange County officials this morning that games will be played “all day long” inside three arenas at Disney when the season restarts. A “stringent sanitation process” will take place between games.

The NBA’s rebooted 2020 season begins on June 30th with the playoffs set for August 17th. Players and workers will be frequently tested during their stay at Disney to fight off the virus throughout the league. Players and team officials will also be rewarded free time outside of the provided facilities, which could lead to potential contact.
