This year’s NFL Draft takes place on April 24th through 26th, but analysts and experts are already providing mock drafts and detailed opinions on the top-end players and which franchises they’ll end up with.
Oddsmakers at NFL betting sites have also weighed in on their draft projections by providing odds for selections near the top of the list. What appears to be certain is that Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward will be selected first overall by the Tennessee Titans.
First Overall Pick Of The 2025 NFL Draft
- Cameron Ward -700
- Abdul Carter (PSU) +400
- Travis Hunter (COL) +1800
- Shedeur Sanders (COL) +2500
- Jaxson Dart (MISS) +7000
- Mason Graham (NMSU) +10000
- Mykel Williams (UGA) +12500
- Ashton Jeanty (BSU) +15000
- Deone Walker (UK) +15000
- Jalen Milroe (ALA) +15000
Ward’s odds to come off the boards first are supported by a healthy -700 moneyline that places him 900 points ahead of Penn State’s Abdul Carter. This move would mark the end of the Titans’ experiment with Will Levis after two seasons with the franchise.
The Cleveland Browns hold the second pick in the first round, and edge rusher Abdul Carter is projected to make the move to northern Ohio. The odds aren’t so certain for pick number two, as Carter only leads Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders by 40 points.
Cleveland is already without troubled starter DeSean Watson for this season. They could either change their minds about the team’s future direction or trade their selection to another franchise seeking a long-term quarterback solution.
Second Overall Pick Of The 2025 NFL Draft
- Abdul Carter (PSU) -125
- Shedeur Sanders (COL) +115
- Cameron Ward +650
- Travis Hunter (COL) +650
- Jaxson Dart (MISS) +2500
- Ashton Jeanty (BSU) +4000
- Mason Graham (NMSU) +6000
- Jalon Walker (UGA) +7500
- Kelvin Banks Jr. (TEX) +7500
Carter is a solid prospect that deserves to come off the boards near the top of the draft, but Cleveland, or another team, will likely pony up for the services of Sanders at pick number 2.

Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty is inarguably the best running back prospect entering the league in 2025. Jeanty rushed for 2,601 yards in 2024 and finished second in the voting for the Heisman Trophy.
The odds for betting on the NFL Draft suggest that he will be selected by the Las Vegas Raiders, who hold the sixth pick in the first round.

2024 Heisman winner Travis Hunter is projected to go fourth overall to the New England Patriots if the above NFL futures are accurate. Hunter is a rare dual threat who can contribute on both sides of the ball as an elite wide receiver and a shutdown cornerback.
Some mock drafts have Hunter going first overall, so he’ll be a legitimate bargain if he slips to NE at four. There is a decent chance that Hunter will end up with the Jaguars at five because the Patriots may have their eyes set on tackle Will Campbell from LSU.

- Armand Membou (MIZZ) -180
- Will Campbell (LSU) +200
- Kelvin Banks Jr. (TEX) +650
- Josh Simmons (ORE) +5000
- Tyler Booker (ALA) +7500

- Ozzy Trapilo (BC) +15000
- Tate Ratledge (UGA) +15000

These NFL odds imply that the first offensive lineman to get drafted will be Armand Membou out of Missouri. We think Will Campbell will come off the boards first, and wagers placed on the prospect will double the money you risk if he does.
